Becomes famous everywhere - 1 Samuel 18 v 30
David's Fall:
Has a spear thrown at him
Runs for his life in the middle of the night
Flees from Samuel's house
Separated from his best friend
Flees to a foreign country
Flees to the hill country
Surrounded by difficult people
Things changed quickly!
3 things David did in the midst of hardship:
1. Lived out his anointing (v2)
2. Continued to seek God (v3)
3. Listened for the prophetic voice (v5)
