An Unexpected Journey

1. Expect the Unexpected
God loves to do things unexpectedly:
Saul was the least likely candidate
"Suddenly" (verse 3)

Are we ready to expect the unexpected?

2. Place of Prayer
Saul's experience led him to a place of prayer:
God spoke to him
His circumstances didn't change immediately
God was working when he couldn't see it
The final breakthrough came by prayer

Prayer is not just essential, it's vital!

3. Empowering of the Spirit
When filled with the Holy Spirit, something happened "immediately" (verse 18):
Restored vision
Mobile again
Renewed strength
